Halloween Blog Hop: Day 1: Costumes

I think one of the best things about Halloween is that it is a huge excuse to dress up. I mean, who doesn't love dressing up? It takes us back to the good olé days when we were kids playing crazy games. Pretending to be superheroes, or kings and queens, or animals. It's fun and silly. The biggest bonus being you get candy for it on Halloween, or at least, you would if you were still a child.

We didn't really do trick-or-treating when I was growing up, but we did have a lot of Halloween parties, which were always awesome. My most popular costume was a witch - yeah, I know, so obvious and cliché. And it was also the most popular and easiest thing to buy at that age : P - I loved the big pointy hats and little brooms you could get. Oh, and the plastic fingers, with the longs nails. They were weird and pointless, but it never stopped me from buying them.

It has been a while since I have put on a costume for Halloween, I might actually dress up this year, just for fun. Maybe I will even take a picture so y'all can have a good laugh after the holiday is over. Sound good?

To kick off this blog hop I am going to give four lucky commenter a signed She-Wolf cover flat, and a winged mobile phone charm.

Yes, all you have to do is leave a comment about, well, Halloween costumes. Your worst. Your favourite. The one you are wearing this Halloween... Don't forget to leave your email address in the comment as well.

The competition ends on Nov 1st at midnight - 6pm eastern time. I will use Random.org to help me pick 4 winners, and then I will email y'all. : )

  1. My favorite was a witch costume made by mother. I'm not wearing one this Halloween.

  2. My favorite Halloween costume is Flannel PJ’s. They’re comfy and warm and the best thing is I can go right to bed when I get home and I don’t have to scrub off any heavy makeup.

Having a blast hopping with you! It’s great visiting with old friends and finding new authors and books to add to my wish list. <^_^>

Thank you for being part of the hop AND for the chance to win!

  6. I don't think I'm planning on dressing up this year ;) My own favorite was a princess outfit from when I was maybe 5? And a favorite on my kids was a pumpkin costume when they were babies--not much cuter than a round-cheeked baby in a round orange outfit ;)
