Playing 20 questions with Ella Jade!

Today I am joined by the lovely Ella Jade....

EM: Welcome to My World, Ella. Thank you so much for stopping by to play twenty questions with me!
: D Are you ready? *rubs hands together* Mwahaha!

Which do you find harder to write?

1. First person POV or Third?

First person. I write in 3rd often but I feel like I can get into my characters heads much better when I write from 1st.

2. As a male or female?

I like writing from the male POV. I like making the men talk, think and feel.

EM: Yeah, it is rather awesome to make men do whatever you want : P

3. Beginning, middle or end of the story?

End of the story. I like the sense of accomplishment.

4. Fight scenes or smex scenes?

Smex scenes after the intense fight scene.

5. Synopsis or blurb?

Neither!

EM: *High fives*

As a writer, do you prefer:

6. Writing in the morning, afternoon or evening?

Evening when the house is quiet.

7. Writing with music, or in peace?

I need total silence to hear what my characters are saying.

8. Planning, or Improvising?

Planning but sometimes a little improve makes its way in.

9. Juggling a few projects, or concentrating on one at a time?

I try to concentrate on writing one story at a time but three other plots usually dance in my head while I'm working.

EM: I want to cry when that happens, especially when one of the characters is really vocal. It's soooo distracting, and I'm not great at juggling. Darn characters!

10. Sticking to one genre, or exploring many?

I research and explore, but contemporary romances seem to dominate my world.

As a reader, do you prefer:

11. Story being told from female view or male?

I like to read from the male POV.

12. Good guys or bad boys?

Bad boys who have the potential to turn into good guys.

13. Feisty females or fragile damsels?

A like damsels who needs to be saved, but can emerge as a stronger character as the story develops.

Just for fun:

19. Vampires or Angels?

20. Werewolves or Demons?

What are you currently working on?

I've just finished my longest story to date and have submitted it to a publisher. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. It's called Passion's Pain.

Here's the blurb

One woman…two men. Who will she choose? The father or the son?

Lilli Daniels has been down on her luck for quite some time. She's been homeless, hungry and alone for far too long. When an intriguing, older stranger enters the strip club where she's waitressing her life takes on a new direction.

Successful attorney Jackson Avis maintains complete control of every aspect in his life. When he lays eyes on the beautiful, young Lilli he's captivated and has to have her. He tempts her with a life of privilege and security. He introduces her to a world she never knew existed. Complications arise when Jackson's son and aspiring doctor Cameron expresses an interest in his father's girlfriend.

Lilli fights the attraction, but Cameron wants to give into his heart's desire. He's the complete opposite of his controlling, manipulative father and will stop at nothing to protect the woman he's falling in love with.

Sometimes life leads you down one path only to bring you to your true destiny. Can Lilli come to terms and figure out exactly who her heart belongs to?

Successful businessman Alec Carter realizes his life is less than fulfilled when he meets beautiful Princeton University senior Clara Whittaker at a local coffee shop. Alec experiments in the BDSM lifestyle but doesn't consider himself hardcore until he crosses paths with the obviously submissive Clara. She quickly learns she's a natural submissive and decides she wants to explore this new side of herself with the man of house. Alec shows her a life she never knew existed as they enter into a world of role playing, fantasy, and desire. Alec may be the Master, but Clara holds the key to his heart.

As the semester comes to an end, so does their arrangement. If Alec doesn't admit his true feelings for Clara, she could walk out of his life forever. But, Alec isn’t sure which she craves more . . . his dominance . . . or his love.
