I'm Margie Church - Romance with SASS!
Thank you, Elizabeth, for hosting me on
your blog. It's always fun to visit a new place. My mom isn't too far from you
today – in Heidelberg. She's a German native. Hanging out with you makes me
feel a little closer to her.
I'm often asked how I got started writing
books. Truth is, I never planned to write one, let alone 15. J But I lost my job three years ago and suddenly I had time. I
started writing fan fiction (I write in the Days of Our Lives soap opera
fandom). Pretty soon I had a book half finished based on a piece of fan fic.
Sound familiar, 50 Shades and Twilight fans? And from there, I took flight.
Everything I write supports my Romance with
SASS moniker. SASS stands for Suspense, Angst, Seductive Sizzle. I like books
that draw me in, that have characters that seem larger than life. Ones I can't
forget. I want to live vicariously through their drama – the delicious
seduction and the happily ever after endings. Those are books I make time to
read and those are the kinds of books I write. If you're saying, hell yeah, then
I hope you'll look at my back list.
So what do I write? What interests me, so
you might be surprised at the variety of genres I've tackled. On the sensual
side, you'll find Nopeming Shores – a breathtaking military romance that has no
swearing or graphic language. It'll make you cry and laugh, and believe love
survives, no matter what.
On the erotic list, you'll find my
bestseller, Hard as Teak. This gay romance is a coming out story that won 2011
GLBT Book of the Year. I have several other gay romances, including the sequel,
Krewe Daddy, and two short stories.
If 50 Shades turns you on, then check out
The 18th Floor and Razor. Both have different BDSM elements in them,
wrapped around romances you'll be cheering for. Sizzling hot, these books are
written to entice, but do not have some of the more graphic fetishes in the
Lifestyle. I'm also part of a BDSM paranormal anthology in October. The title
of my submission is Cream on the Crop. Yummy!
Need some hot, contemporary hetero? You
bet. Scope out my novella WET. The story lives up to its title. You'll want to
snap up the sequel and my debut series – Awakening and Avenging Allaire.
Are vamps and shape shifters your gig? Love
Bites and Dangerous Love are two books to investigate. I have yet to find a
reader who said they knew how Love Bites would end. Both books feature dark and
dangerous characters that will creep you out and intrigue you. These books are great
for men, too. There's a terrific balance of intelligent plot combined with
smoking hot sex.
I hope I've given you a taste of my Romance
with SASS, and you'll take a minute to visit my author page on Amazon.
That's the only place to get all my books; many are in print, and available in
the UK! I also can send Kindlegraphs
to anyone, anywhere for FREE! You can also find my books on Sony, Apple, All
Romance Ebooks, and Barns & Noble.
Before I leave, I want to invite you to
participate in my contest Falling into Love with
Author, Margie Church. It's simple and fun to play. The more points you
