This Tuesday - 9th December - my modern fairytale retelling, Razel Dazzle will be released in print. The eBook was published last November. I know, a bit of a big gap, but in all honesty I have been debating over publishing it in print, and well, after self-pubbing and re-releasing my Blood Series - and therefore figuring out how to format and publish print books - I decided why not? Nothing beats holding an actual book in your hand, and not everyone likes eBooks. So, I figured I'd just go for it.
So, Razel Dazzle will be available to buy as a paperback from Createspace, Amazon, and eventually Barnes & Noble from this Tuesday onward. But it is available to download for FREE from most online retailers should you wish to grab yourself a copy and get a taste for my work. :)
Now back to where we left off with Creak - previous snippet from two weeks ago can be read here - and things are starting to get a little tense.

Nervous
laughter slipped from my lips. "Say what?"
"God,
you're such a bitch." Kacey scrunched his cup up and threw it at her.
"Say's
you. You're his best friend and you’re on the verge of tattling on him. Who the
fuck does that?"
My
eyes widened as I glanced between her and Kacey, and then at Tyler as he took
the cup from my hand. "Are they joking?" I asked as I twisted to face
him.
"It's
the truth."
I
glared at Kacey. "I'm not talking to you. I'm talking to Ty."
Kacey
shrugged. "You ain't going to get an answer from him. He's too chicken
shit to admit it."

What happens in Silver Creek, stays in Silver Creek.
After spending the summer as a recluse due to a bad break-up, Nicole Saunders agrees to go to The Heat Wave Festival with her best friends, Kacey and Tyler.
Along with three other friends they plan to take a shortcut through the small town of Silver Creek; the last thing any of them expected was to become lost and end up pulling in to a motel for the night.
The Creek Motel is isolated and the last place Nicole wants to be, especially after meeting the glacial owner, but her discomfort is soon forgot as she finally gives in to her feelings and asks Kacey and Tyler to spend the night with her.
A decision she quickly regrets when she discovers that their friend has mysteriously disappeared from her locked room in the middle of the night. Worried, Nicole presumes the worst, but quickly discovers that Jayne's disappearance is more disturbing than any of them could have guessed.

Don't forget to check out the other authors who participate in Sundays Sexy Snippets . . . .
I enjoyed the banter between them. Nice snippet.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Daisy. :)
DeleteGlad you're back, and things are getting a tad tense, aren't they? Don't even talk to me about Christmas. I'm being last minute Christmas fairy this year!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Doris. The sad thing is I just don't feel very festive. I hope that changes within the next week 'cos I do really love Christmas, but this year... I have no idea what is wrong with me lol
