**Competition has ended. Winners will be emailed by Dana.**

Happy Halloween! Okay, so we aren't there quite yet, but isn't it starting to feel like the holidays?

I'm in that mode. I'm ready. Love the holidays.

Let's have some fun. I'll answer any questions any one has, but I'll start with answering the most common.

What is Zapocalypse-The Midnight Special and who might enjoy it.

Hum? Zombie Apocalypse?

Zapocalypse-The Midnight Special is a comedy and can be enjoyed by all adults. Straight, GLBT or anyone in between. It's a FUN read that hopefully leaves you with a smile and chuckling …" Oh no she didn't." (Sssh, because yes I did)

Gina and Ginger move from collage life to life in BFE. A southern town where being different isn't considered a good thing. But who can hate two girls who've learned to laugh at all the oddities life can through?

Especially, when this go round, lifes tossed overall wearing redneck zombies.

What's a girl to do?

Crank up some Creedence Clearwater Revival and kick some serious zombie ass!

To celebrate some rocking good times, I'm giving away prizes to randomly selected commenter's from those who answer the below question;

Tell me your scariest moment ever. You know, the one time you froze, pee'd your pants, or were simply too damn scared to yell for help.

Prizes up for Grabs.

  1. Hmm, no zombies for my big scare. I think the it had to be the time I was held up. Oddly enough, with a gun to my head, I had the insane urge to laugh because it felt like a horrible joke. Weird. Great post, Dana! :)

  5. Zapocalypse-The Midnight Special is an awesome and fun read! Laugh out loud type of a read. Definitely recommend it. OMG, my biggest fright/fear? I don't want to or ever again see spirits. I have in the past and that's an experience I want to avoid from now on.

  6. Thank you so much for stopping by, Dana. The book sounds fab. :-D

I don't think I have ever been scared to such an extent, but I really hate spiders. One evening this huge one - and I mean huge. It was the size of my cats head - walked into the living room, and I was frozen on the sofa screaming for my mother for half an hour. It didn't help that my cats kept walking past it, because it had hid in one of the blankets. Silly animals.

    What's your fave zombie movie?

  7. The original Night of the Living Dead. Something about watching it in black and white scares the heebie jeebies out of me.

Oddly my worst two frights were polar opposites but in the same house.

    1) Saw things moving about. Was on Percocet so I don't think it could be that. Had been on it before and after and never went through what I did that night. Seeing things floating about, something kicking me from under the bed---was bad.

    2) Same house. Pulled a fun all nighter with my MIL and we'd sat up watching horror movies all night. Well in the wee hours I saw this ghostly face--too scared to scream I gripped the chair and woo woo woo'd until I caught my MIL's attention. She froze too.

Was my FIL getting up to ask what the hell we were doing still up. LOL

  8. Fun post!! Love scary movies, they are my favorite of all time!! My biggest fright: heights! yeah, not so scary, but terrifies me! Oh, that and small spaces! Can't do either one! There was this one time when my husband worked on the road and me and the kids were home alone. My son got me up in the middle of the night because he'd gone into the kitchen for a drink of water and saw someone in the foyer by the front door! Sure enough, when I looked in the living room there was something there. It kept ducking in and out from the wall! Freaked me out! Come to find out it was a Christmas stocking I had hanging on a lamp blowing in the breeze from the furnace vent (which was in the ceiling)! Great post! Jennifer

  9. @Jennifer, I think I would have wee'd myself before making the stocking discovery. Or shot my lamp to hell. One or the other.

    LOL
