Almost... there...

Anyone else freak out a little when they found that blogger had gone bye-bye? I know I did, but hey, things happen, and everything is back.

So, late Friday post.

Stepping Stones. Some of you may have heard that title before, some of you might not have a clue, but it's all good.

Final day of NaNo... How about a snippet?

Final day of NaNo. For anyone who managed to do 50k or more, congrats. I sadly did not, but oh well I'm going to continue with the story any way.

My brain kind of gave out on me this month so I have been keeping my writing to the bar minimum word count. I thinki the insomnia and the fact my brain feels like it is being cushioned with cotton wool is an indication I burnt my mental energy up a little. True what they say, you push tyo hard everything gives up on you. Happy to say that while I was walking in the cold, through the snow my brain started to wake up a little. So fingers crossed, my brain might be back in business within the next couple of days.

Ehhh...

I am soooo not going to finish Nano. I have 13k. I'm 37k from finishing... as much as I wish I could, I will not be able to pull that out of my top hat, which is a real shame.

My internet crashed on me the other night.... eh. It's - obviously - better now but still.... ehh.

Monday = Another NaNo snip

The possibility of me reaching 50k for NaNo in the next two weeks... slim. My plan to write 1.5k a day went down the drain, due to things popping up and this lovely slice of Insomnia I am having at the moment. And it's not the nice type - the type where you can still be productive - It's the horrid type, where your head throbs and all you can think about is sleep and how much you would like to participate in it at that moment. If I had the nice insomnia then I would probably reach NaNo's 50k no problem. Still two weeks, maybe I will get lucky.

NaNo Snippet

Second day of NaNo. My goal is to write at least 1,500 words a day. If I can do that then I will get to 50k with no problem (hopefully). I got my word count widget over on the right so you can kick my butt if it isn't going up every day.

The working title for this story is 'Stepping Stones'. And just for fun... here's a snip of the first part of chapter one. I don't know how this story is going to turn out, it's a chick lit story. Chick Literature is a tad out of my comfort zone but I liked the idea. So, we shall soon see what happens.
