- I'm half way through my first lot of edits on - The Collector.
- She-Wolf received 4 cherries from Whipped Cream Reviews.
- I figured out that what I wanted to do for my short for WOCA interlocks perfectly with my current project, which is frickin' awesome on a number of levels.
- By project I do mean Chris and Delaney's novella. Remember I said I was a panster? Yeah, I had to pause and do some planning, but now I have, I can continue. *high five?*
- The lovely Chris Lange did a funny blog post a little while ago which you should all check out if you're in a nice, "I feel random and I want a giggle" mood.
- The new Jane Eyre movie looks AMAZING.
- So does the new Fright Night. *says Fright Night in the creep way the old show from the old movie did.*

Squeakage!
Squeak No 1 - The contract for Cranberry Blood - Blood Book 1 - the sequel to She-Wolf - has been signed and sent. *Jumps about* I can't even begin to tell you how nervous/frickin' excited I am about this book being released. >_< And the cover... I CANNOT wait to see what the amazing Fiona Jayde cooks up. At the moment the release date looks to be mid-November onwards. It isn't written in stone yet. More news as I get it!
Squeak No 2 - She-Wolf is back in Noble's top 10 best sellers list this week. It is No 6. Thank you to everyone who has bought it. You guys rock! I hope you enjoy it/have enjoyed it.
Squeak No 3 - I got a lovely review for She-Wolf on Goodreads. For anyone who is interetsted in reading it just click... here.
Squeak No 4 - Starting from this sunday (28th) I will be interviewing fellow authors. This sunday the awesome Empress LaBlaque will be joining me. So please stop by an say hey!
And...
Now, after writing the most recent Sparks snippet, I realized that I need to give y'all a little more understanding of this world, yes? So decided to do a little odd blurb for this freebie.
So I sat myself down to do that, and Christopher came in, kicked me off the computer and wrote it instead. Men. Or rather cats, they think they own the place.
So, if you pop over to the Sparks page, you will find Christophers blurb-type-thing for Sparks. O_o

Sparks - Part 2
The second part of Sparks is up for anyone who is interested! (And yes, he is that crazy and pushy, and annoying.)
It would have been up sooner, but Christopher was not cooperating - surprise, surprise - so change took place. Apparently I was getting the timeline mixed up O_o God forbid I miss a moment where he is doing something stupid... *curses Chris*
I hope you enjoy!
(Sparks is unedited, and is how it is. These small moments between Delaney & Chris are written for fun and so y'all have something to look forward to?)

Update!
Because I haven't done one in a while?
She-Wolf
Okay, I make lists in my head - and on paper - and I think there is a chance I missed something really vital out...
She-Wolf spent the first week after it's release at No.4 on Noble's top ten best sellers. It went to No.2 on it's second week and then No.1 on it's third.
I literally spent a good few days alternating between these expressions -
: 0 : ) : D >_< -
Thank you so much to everyone who has purchased it. I hope you're - or you have - enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Also I just wanted to let y'all know that She-Wolf is now available for purchase on Amazon and AllRomanceEbooks/OmniLit - links on She-Wolf Page.
Current Projects
The sequel to She-Wolf - Cranberry Blood, you may have seen that title kicked about a bit : P - is currently with my editor and going through its first set of edits. So if you enjoyed She-Wolf, you wont have to wait to long to find out what the deal was with those bloody - forgive the pun - "Rogues" and what Brendan is up to ; )
I'm in the middle of editing my sweet contemporary romance Stepping Stones, so it is presentable to submit to my editor.
I'm waiting for my edits for The Collector.
I shall share news once I have it : )
And...
I finally sat down - My head really has been all over the place recently *tut, tut* - and made a nice solid history for Delaney and Christopher's novella. (I'm a panster remember.) I am calling it Charged for now, so far it fits, but if I think of something better then it will change.
I do have a few things to whisk up for my own peace of mind, but I already started. Look there is a progress bar and everything.
I have to admit, the story they brought to me is a few years after they met, and that is the one - Charged - that is hammering in my brain. But, part of me can see other stories that are set after they meet... and I am rocking on the balls of my feet wondering where would be a good place to start.
Obviously, this isn't a comic book - and I wouldn't dare insult any comic book writer and illustrator by saying otherwise - but in true fashion, comic book time lines jump back and forth. I think that is what is going to happen, mainly because my mind is to focused on years later.
Hmm. Yes. I think the best bet is to just write the story and then see how I feel when I have finished it. Yes, that sounds like a good plan. I think? O_o
On another note, for anyone who enjoyed the first installment of Sparks - the very first moment Dee & Chris meet - you might be happy to know that after two months - *hangs head* - I have the next installment for you. I just need to go through it again and make sure I am happy with it, then I will pop it up. So look out for that in the next couple of days : )
Last, but not least, Noble YA line has an open call for vampire novellas. I have a little story cooking, but that is all I am saying. As some of you know I sometimes mention a brilliant idea, and then... well I haven't written it.
I will eventually get around to them, but sometimes other stories/characters jump in and hound me - *coughowencoughshe-wolfcough* and I have to write them first.

If only I had another set of hands... One can only dream of the possibilities.

What a week!
So I get my edits back, and my software decides to play up, making it completely impossible for me to do anything. Luckily my publisher is a frickin' genius and points me in the direction of a really good downloadable software and saves the day.
Then my cats are playing and wrench the phonesocket from the wall - luckily this isn't the first time the crazy fools have done this - It was easy to fix, thank god.
So I had a few stressful days there where I was literally banging my head against the wall.

Brain pain, and a mini rant update!
I have come to the conclusion that I am one of these strange people who is a lot more happier when they are completely rushed off their feet. Even if they are tired and stressed, and ready to bang their head against the wall, they're happy. And I think I am one of them. I need a good amount of stress to keep me active, it's insane right? My brain is being a pain! *kicks brain*
I'm working on the second part of Spark. Delaney and Christopher's novella is slowly - so frickin' slowly - coming together, but thankfully there is no big rush for it to be finished.
And oh, you will never guess what... Werewolves are stalking me, again. Oh yes. I am trying to concentrate on Dee and Chris, but because my mind is fully aware of She-Wolf and Cranberry, and there's the small fact that I am in the middle of plotting and playing about with the story for the following book, they are pouncing on me. This time it is May and John. *Head desk*
May and John are actually a very sweet pair, they haven't just rammed in to my brain demanding a story. Oh no. Instead they just wandered in all sweetly with smiles, and just showed me a few moments, ideas. All done with the 'please don't forget about us' expression on their faces. Damn them! So, needless to say I have already sketched out a basic plan for them, jotted piece of dialogue that have sprung to mind. I have no idea when their story is going to get written, but it will, eventually. They wont leave me alone until it has been.
*Cries* I love them all, but why do they have to do this to me when I'm trying to write other peoples stories??
Anyway, I'm waiting for my She-Wolf edits, and I really can't wait to see the cover. I'm literally rocking back and forward because I'm so excited.
Quick reminder - There is a sale on at Cobblestone Press! (Mentioned, with link two posts ago.) And the first part of my little short story for Delaney and Christopher, titled Spark, has its own page, which is listed with all the others at the top of the page under the blog banner.
Oh and new snip up on the friday page : P

Thank you to everyone who voted. I am pleased to say the name of my superheroine & superhero are....

Sparks
I've been a bad blogger. *Hangs head* I wish I had more to blog about at the moment, but despite cracking on with the writing, things have slowed down a wee bit. And now I have said that it will no doubt speed up.... *pokes and tempts fate* So that is the only reason y'all are getting a lot of silence, and a friday blog every week.
Now do you remeber I said I would post a snip of my new projects as a treat for helping me pick the names of the next leading guy and gal? I changed my mind. I'm going to give you a short freebie story instead : P because heck knows it has been a while since I have done that.
The idea for this simply came due to the fact that I'm stil jumping between the timeline of when the actual novella will be set. A year after they met? Five years? Why not straight away? There are reasons, but in order to figure this out, I did write the moment they first met, but it isn't a full blown story, it is just that, a moment. So I thought "hey, why not clean it and pop it up so you can meet them. Why not actually continue writing these moments - because there is a few - and then I will know which story I need to tell."
So that's what I am going to do folks! I'm going to see how many moments they have, and I'm going to pop em up. So any time you see the word "Sparks" that's the title for the whole lot, and there will be a few reasons for such a title, which you will soon find out. There are three days left to vote for names, and by next tuesday - yes, you will have a blog on tuesday for a change : ) - you will get to read their first meeting.
Friday snip is up. Naturally if you were reading it in one go it wouldn't be confusing, but don't be confused, it's a flashback. There are about five in the story. Very short, all with a point.
So, don't forget to check back on tuesday for something a little new, and... different? You can let me know then >_<

Help me pick the names of my next Heroine and Hero!
Just as the title says, I need your help picking a name for my Superheroine and Superhero. Sometimes names come easy to me, sometimes they don't, and unfortunatley I can't settle on a name for either of my leads for my next project.
That's where you lovely people come in!
On your left you will notice two ickle polls in the side coloumn. All you have to do is vote for the name you like best.

A superheros playlist...
Stepping Stones is finished!!! Or at least the first draft is. (The next snip is up.) It is complete at 37k, which is awesome since the goal was 30k. Just got to do the edits, polish it and then I can send it on it's way.
I actually had a playlist for this project. I know a lot of writers do use music to help inspire them when writing particular scenes, or when they are trying to get the feel for the character. I like to use music, to have a little soundtrack for the characters. Having a playlist always helps me when I feel stuck, which does happen to me, more than I like.
